CHROMIUM CARBIDE WEAR PLATES

Chromium carbide overlay plate is manufactured by hardfacing a steel base plate with abrasion-resistant material using arc welding procedures. This results an overlay plate that can be welded, formed and cut and used in extremely abrasive and high impact applications.  Different grades of this are available ranging from high impact/ low abrasion to low impact/ extreme abrasion. The type of plating is known to outlast quality grades of AR500 steel 10:1.
